A. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. Subtask 32-33-16-420-050
B. Installation of the NLG Free-Fall Extension Cables (12) and/or (14)
(1)
If necessary, release the cable(s) (1) and/or (2) from the adjacent structure.
(2)
Attach the cable(s) (12) and/or (14) to the cable quadrant (15) on the reduction gearbox.
(3)
Connect the cable(s) (12) and/or (14) to the cable(s) (1) and/or (2) with the turnbuckle(s) (17).
(4)
Install the cable-guard (24) with these items:
-
the spacers (18), the bolts (13), (20) and the washer (19)
-
the washer (23) and the nut (22).
(5)
Safety the nut (22) with the cotter pin (22)
(6)
Temporarily attach the locking clips (16).

C. Installation of the NLG Free-Fall Extension Cables (1) and/or (2)
(1)
If necessary, release the cable(s) (12) and/or (14) from the adjacent structure.
(2)
Attach the cable(s) (1) and/or (2) to the cable pulley (3).
(3)
Connect the cable(s) (1) and/or (2) to the cable(s) (12) and/or (14) with the turnbuckle(s) (17).
(4)
Install the cable-guide-fairleads (10) and the locking devices (11).
(5)
Install the cable-guard (5) with these items:
-
the spacers (6) and the bolts (4)
-
the washers (7) and the nuts (9).
(6)
Safety the nuts (9) with the cotter pins (8)
(7) Temporarily attach the locking clips (16). Subtask 32-33-16-820-050
D. Adjust the Tension of the Cables
(1) Adjust the tension of the cable(s) (1), (2), (12) and (14) (Ref. TASK 32-33-00-820-001).

E. Remove the Rigging Pins
-the RIGGING PIN in the position Pin 1.
-the PIN, RIGGING - RUDDER CONTROL in the position Pin 4. Subtask 32-33-16-410-050
F. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
On the panel 110VU, remove the wedges from each side of the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle.
(3)
Close the NLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-22-00-410-001).

G. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1GA, 2GA, 52GA.

A. Flight Configuration Precautions
(1) If you did not de-energize the aircraft electrical circuits, put the aircraft back to the ground configuration (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-002).

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the cockpit-floor panels 211FF, 211JF (Ref. TASK 53-12-11-400-001).
(3)
Install the floor panel 221AF (Ref. TASK 53-12-12-400-001).
(4)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(5) Close the lateral avionics-compartment door 812. Subtask 32-33-16-942-053
C. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Remove the safety barriers.
(2)
Remove the warning notice(s).
