A. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1)
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026)
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Lubricate the new items that follow with FUELS (Material No. 01-001), or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012):

B. Installation of the Jet Pump 89QM(90QM)
CAUTION : YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.

Remove the blanking caps from the:
-jet pump (42)
-coupling nuts (31), (45), (49) and (51)
-union (44)
-elbow (50)
-tee piece (32).
(2)
Install the O-ring (43) on the union (44).
(3)
Install the nut (48) on the elbow (50) and install the nut (33) on the tee piece (32).
(4)
Install the O-ring (47) on the elbow (50) and the O-ring (34) on the tee piece (32).
(5)
Install the union (44), the elbow (50) and the tee piece (32) on the jet pump (42).
(6)
Install the O-rings (35) and the O-ring (37) on the jet pump (42).
(7)
Attach the jet pump (42) to the rear spar and install the nuts (36).
(8)
Safety the end plug (38) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(9)
Connect the coupling nuts (31) and (51) to the tee piece (32).
(10)
Connect the coupling nut (49) to the elbow (50) and the coupling nut
(45) to the union (44).
(11)
Tighten the nuts (48) and (33).
(12)
Install the bonding lead (41), the washer (40), the bolt (39) and the nut (46) on the jet pump (42).

C. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the applicable access panel (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-400-001):

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 29QA, 30QA.

(1) Refuel, defuel or transfer fuel as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003), (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001).

(1) Examine the rear spar and jet pump (40) interface for signs of fuel leakage.
