Get access to the APU fuel line aft of FR70.
(a)
Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below the rear fuselage.
(b)
Open the applicable access panels for the APU fuel line:
-between the FR70 and FR77
remove 312AR
-aft of FR77
remove 314AR
(5)
Put a CONTAINER 5 L(1 1/2 USGAL) in position below the APU fuel line connections, before you disconnect them.

A. Removal of the APU Fuel Line (Example)
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 28-22-47-991-002)
(1) Move the coupling sleeves (17).
(a) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (7) and (9) and the bolts (10). Disconnect the bonding straps (8).

(b)
Attach the bonding straps (8) with tapes temporarily to stowage positions.
(c)
Remove and discard the lockwire and remove the spring rings (6).
(d)
Move the coupling sleeves (17) along the fuel line components
(11)
or (1), as applicable.
(2)
Make sure there is a CONTAINER 5 L(1 1/2 USGAL) in position below the applicable connections of the fuel line components.
(3)
Remove and discard the lockwire and disconnect the nuts (3) from the nuts (2).
NOTE : When you disconnect the nuts (3) from the nuts (2), fuel will
____ drain from the fuel line. Make sure that the fuel has fully drained into the CONTAINER 5 L(1 1/2 USGAL), before you go on.

Remove the nuts (14), the washers (15), the bolts (13) and the clamps
(12) and (16) as necessary.
(5)
Removal of Fuel Line CAUTION : DO NOT PULL THE FUEL LINE.

IF YOU PULL THE FUEL LINE, YOU WILL CAUSE PERMANENT
ELONGATION OF THE FUEL LINE.
(a) Carefully remove the fuel line component (11).
(6) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
