(2)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice is in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3)
Make sure that the flaps are fully extended (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(4)
Make sure the the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER
(98D27803000000) is on the slat/flap control lever.
(5)
Make sure that the applicable spoiler No. 3 is extended (Ref. TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(6)
Make sure that the COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER (98D27604000000) is on the applicable spoiler No. 3 servo-control.
(7)
Make sure that the access platform is below the applicable zone 540(640) and 575(675).
(8)
Make sure that the applicable access is removed (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-002):
