On the Refuel/Defuel Panel 800VU:
-set and hold the TEST switch to HI LVL.

Monitor the Fuel Quantity Indicator 6QT:
-release the TEST switch
-set the left REFUEL VALVE
switch to SHUT.

On the Refuel/Defuel Panel 800VU:
-set the center REFUEL VALVE switch to OPEN.
7.
On the Fuel Control Panel 40VU:
-push (in) the L TK PUMPS 1 or 2 P/BSW.
8.
Monitor the Fuel Quantity Indicator 6QT.
-fuel moves from the center tank tothe left wing tank.
-
the CTR value decreases
-
the LEFT value increases.
-
the LEFT HI LVL light comes on
-fuel movement stops
-
the LEFT HI LVL light goes out.
-
the CTR value decreases
-
the LEFT value increases.
On the ECAM lower DU:
-before 45 seconds, the CTR TK PUMP 1 symbol goes to green cross-line
-fuel movement stops.
NOTE : If the center tank pump operates
____ for more than 45 seconds, stop the test and trouble-shoot the system (Ref. TSM Chapter 28). (This is to prevent a possible fuel spill from the left wing NACA vent).

the applicable L TK PUMPS 1 or 2 OFFlight goes out.

release (out) the CTR TK PUMP 1 P/BSW

release (out) the applicable L TK PUMPS 1 or 2 P/BSW.

On the Refuel/Defuel Panel 800VU:
-set the center REFUEL VALVE switch to SHUT.
On the ECAM lower DU:
-
the CTR TK PUMP 1 symbol goes togreen in-line.
-
the CTR TK PUMP 1 OFF light comes on
-
the applicable L TK PUMPS 1 or 2 OFFlight comes on
-
the pump stops.
NOTE : For the right side pump control test, do the procedure that follows:

12. On the Fuel Control Panel 40VU:
-push (in) the CTR TK PUMP 2 P/BSW
-make sure that the CTR TK PUMP 1 P/BSW is released (out)
-release (out) the X FEED P/BSW.
13. On the Refuel/Defuel Panel 800VU:
-make sure that the MODE SELECT switch is set to DEFUEL/XFR
-set the right REFUEL VALVE switch to OPEN.
-the CTR TK PUMP 2 OFF light goes off
-make sure that the CTR TK PUMP 1 OFFlight is on
-
the X FEED OPEN (green) light goesoff
-
the X FEED ON light (white) light goes off.
-make sure that the MODE SELECT OPENlight is on
-fuel moves from the center tank tothe right wing tank.
