-the FUEL/X FEED pushbutton switch 4QE is not pushed in. (The ON and OPEN legends of the pushbutton switch are off).

Put the access platform in position under the main door of the right main gear.

(4)
Remove the crossfeed valve actuator 5QE (Ref. TASK 28-23-51-000-001).

A. Removal of the Fuel Crossfeed Valve (10QM)
(1)
Put a container 1USgal (4l) below the valve (3), the pump (19) and the connections between the lines (6) and (7). (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 28-23-41-991-001, 402/TASK 28-23-41-991-002)
(2)
Remove the nuts (12), the washers (13) and the bolts (14) and disconnect the bonding strips (11).
(3)
Remove the nut (23), the bolt (25) and disconnect the bonding strip (24).
(4)
Loosen the nut (27) and disconnect the line (26).
(5)
Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21).
(6)
Loosen the nuts (28) (Ref. Detail E).
(7)
Remove the cross-union (5) together with the lines (4) and (6). NOTE : Play at the connections between the line (4) and the
____ cross-union (5), and, the line (6) and the cross-union (5) will help you release the lines.
