(1)
On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW is in the off position (the ON legend is off).
(2)
On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU, make sure that all L TK PUMPS and R TK PUMPS pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).

R (3) Put the WARNING NOTICE in position: - on the overhead panel 25VU, to tell persons not to operate the APU MASTER SW, - on the FUEL panel 40VU, to tell persons not to operate the fuel system, - on the APU FIRE panel 20VU, to tell persons not to operate the fire extinguishing system.

On the FUEL panel 40VU, push the X FEED pushbutton switch (the ON and OPEN legends come on).

De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

Open the LH Main Landing-Gear (MLG) door to get access to the crossfeed valve actuator (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

Put the access platform in position at the LH MLG door.

A. Removal of the Crossfeed Valve Actuator (5QE)
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (4) from the crossfeed valve actuator (5).
NOTE : Identify the electrical connectors before you disconnect them
____ to prevent an incorrect condition when you reconnect them.
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Loosen the screw and remove the V-clamp (3) which attaches the crossfeed valve actuator (5) to the mounting flange (1).
(4)
Remove the crossfeed valve actuator (5) from the mounting flange (1).
(5)
Remove and discard the O-ring (2) from the mounting flange (1).
