energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the slats are fully retracted (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-005).
(3)
Make sure that the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) is on the slat/flap control lever.
(4)
Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001), then: - on the ECAM Control Panel (CP), push (in) the FUEL push icon switch
-make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower Display Unit (DU).
(5)
Refuel, defuel or transfer fuel to get this fuel configuration (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003), (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001):

the center tank contains more than 500 kg (1100 lb)
-
the applicable wing-tank outer-cell full
-
the applicable wing-tank inner-cell contains between 5000 kg (11000 lb) and 5500 kg (12125 lb).

1. On the Fuel Control Panel 40VU:
-push (in) the CTR TK PUMP 1 P/BSW
-make sure that the CTR TK PUMP 2 P/BSW is released (out)
-
push (in) the MODE SEL P/BSW
-
push (in) the X FEED P/BSW.
2. On the Refuel/Defuel Panel 800VU:
-set the MODE SELECT switch to DEFUEL/XFR
On the Fuel Control Panel 40VU:
-the CTR TK PUMP 1 P/BSW OFF lightgoes off
-make sure that the CTR TK PUMP 2 OFFlight is on
-
the MODE SEL MAN light goes off
-
the ON light (white) comes on
-
the OPEN light (green) comes on (valve fully open).
On the Refuel/Defuel Panel 800VU:
-
the MODE SELECT OPEN light comes on
