R (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a
R MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS

R (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are
R clean and in the correct condition.
R (3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

R - lubricate the new O-ring (6) and the new O-ring (8) with FUELS
R (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012).

R - lubricate the new O-ring (6) and the new O-ring (8) with FUELS

R (1) Install the O-ring (6) on the check valve (5).
R (2) Install the O-ring (8) on the fuel pipe (9).

R (3) Install the check valve (5) on the related fuel pump canister. Make
R sure that the TOP legend on the check valve is at the top of fuel

R (4) Install and tighten the bolts (4).
R (5) Put the fuel pipe (9) in position on the check valve (5).
R (6) Install the fuel pipes that you removed for access (Ref. TASK 28-00-
