C. Get Access R (1) Open the main gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE is on the applicable MLG door actuating-cylinder.
(3)
Put an access platform below the crossfeed valve actuator, 5QE.
(4) Open the access panel 192MB. R NOTE : Do not keep the door open longer than necessary because the
____ R battery can discharge.

D. Fuel Configuration
(1) Refuel, defuel or transfer fuel (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003) (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001) to get:

a minimum of 500 kg (1100 lb) in the left wing tank
-
a maximum of 500 kg (1100 lb) in the right wing tank.
(2) Keep the access panel 192MB open and panel 800VU energized.

(1)
Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2)
On panel 11VU, push the FUEL pushbutton switch (in).
(3)
On panel 800VU:
(a)
Put the MODE SELECT SWITCH to the DEFUEL XFR position.
(b)
Put the REFUEL VALVES switch for the right wing to the OPEN position.

A. Test
(1) In the test that follows, on each operation of the crossfeed valve:
-listen to make sure that the actuator stops each time that the crossfeed valve moves to the end of its travel
-
make sure that the see/feel indicator operates smoothly, from the valve open (valve closed) position to the valve closed (valve open) position
-
make sure that the see/feel indicator marks are accurately aligned in the valve open position
-
make sure that the see/feel indicator marks are at 90 degrees to one another in the valve closed position
NOTE : During this test the ECAM will show unwanted indications,

1. On panel 40VU, push the X FEED pushbutton switch (in). On the ECAM Display Unit (DU), thecrossfeed valve is shown open (in-line) On panel 40VU, the ON and OPEN legends
come on.
2. On the X FEED valve actuator 5QE: look at the position of the mechanical see/feel indicator. On the X FEED valve actuator 5QE, thesee/feel indicator shows that the valveis open.
3. On panel 40VU, push the L TK PUMPS pushbutton switches (in). On panel 40VU, the OFF legends go offand the FAULT legends come on momentarily On the ECAM DU the right wing fuel content increases and the left wing fuel content decreases.
