B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3)
Make sure that the access platform is below the applicable access panel 540AB(640AB).
(4)
Make sure that the applicable wing access panel is removed (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-001):

Make sure that the applicable RIB2 surge door is open:

A. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1)
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Make sure that the check-valve (2) opens and closes correctly.
(5)
Lubricate the new O-ring (1) with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012).

B. Installation of the Fuel-Pump Check-Valve 33QM(36QM), 34QM(35QM)
(1)
Install the O-ring (1) on the check-valve (2).
(2)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Install the check-valve (2).
(4)
Connect the pipe (3) at the check-valve (2).

C. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Remove the HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) from the applicable RIB2 surge door.
(3)
Close the rib 2 rear access door:

close 540BZ.

FOR 35QM, 36QM
close 640BZ.
(4)
Install the wing access panel (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-400-001):

install 640AB.

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1QA, 2QA, 7QA, 8QA, 11QA, 12QA.
