B. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Lubricate the new items that follow with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012):

the sealing ring (12)
-
the O-ring (17)
-the O-ring (19). Subtask 28-21-52-420-052
C. Installation of the Fuel Pump Canister 2QM(3QM)
(1)
Install the new sealing ring (12) and the new O-rings (17) and (19).
(2)
Engage the connectors (16) and (14), while you put the canister (15) in position.
(3)
Install the canister (15) with the screws (13).
(4)
Torque the screws (13) to between 0.5 and 0.6 m.daN (44.24 and 53.09 lbf.in).
(5)
Install the connectors (14) and (16), with the bolts (21) and the nuts (20).
(6)
Install the pipe (9).

R (3) Torque the screws (12) to between 0.5 and 0.6 m.daN (44.24 and 53.09
R lbf.in).
R (4) Install the connector (13). Install the bolts (40) and the nuts (38).
R (5) Install the bolt (41), the bonding tab (36) and the nut (37)
R (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).
R (6) Install the connector (14). Install the bolts (34) and the nuts (31).
R (7) Install the bolt (35), the bonding tab (29) and the nut (30)
R (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).
R (8) Install the connector (16). Install the bolts (22) and the nuts (21).
R (9) Install the fuel pipes that you removed (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-400-001).
R (10) Install the pipe (9).
