Product Overview
What is eFlight?
eFlight is an end-to-end, airline-tailored hardware and software solution that enables effective integration and
management of the airline’s information flow. The eFlight solution includes decision support applications that
address business process optimization of airline operations, aircraft maintenance, and passenger services
activities.
eFlight is comprised of 3 core elements:
• eFlight Ground System (EGS), an information management software application for integrating “back
office” IT systems (e.g., flight operations, engineering, maintenance, crew scheduling, accounting, etc.)
• eFlight Communications Software (ECS), a software application (air and ground components) for
managed, automated, and optimized transfer of data between aircraft and ground. ECS couples
guaranteed data delivery with the lowest possible communication costs.
• eFlight Aircraft Software (ACS), applications (eFlight and third party integration) that give flight deck and
cabin crews the information they need for effective and efficient performance.
