you’d never considered. Moreover the attention from everyone needs to be waked up from
the leader, hand he or she also needs to be reminded of that all great inventions appeared
from the beginning from one single idea.
Listening is a talent, to be open and hear others opinions and comprehend their ideas doesn’t
mean to agree with them. To be able to see things from other point of views means having
empathy and being capable to deal with differences, which is the basis of treating others as
equals. This talent is important for both leaders and the people he or she moderates. During
this session it is also important to have low rate of interrupting, which means respect every
individuals and their different ideas.

Think and experience themselves
To get everyone to work with their fully performances, it’s necessary to make each
individuals to think themselves and experience their own innovations. It’s only then a group
can reach maximums synergy. To experiment with your own thoughts is in the same way of
exploring the learning cycle.
Fig 1: Experimental learning cycle (Kolb et al., 1974)
This way of learning encourages a lot of thinking from individuals. In the first phase of the
cycle, the learner comprehends practical experience, the second step is about reflection and
observations of the undertaken actions, with follows by creating own abstract concepts by the
learner as gaining deeper understanding. The fourth phase doesn’t have to be the last step; it’s
about testing your concepts in reality and new situations. If the new concepts don’t work or if
other problems arise it’s meant to start the cycle from the first step again. 4
Today’s society has been forcing humans to find the quickest way from input to output. We
are used to reach for making everything with high quality and as fast as possible. This way it
keeps us from stop for a while, step aside and think of the best solution in a specific situation.
It has been a focus on working and not developing, hence especially for a leader it’s

important to always be open for new changes and new ways of thinking, to search for
improvements.
Conclusion
Meetings have many aspects that concern their outcomes, but I would say that the most
important one is to involve everyone to search for new views of the meeting’s goal. Meeting
is the futures tool of finding new ways of thinking, the key of having successful meetings and
teamwork is therefore to involve everyone to find as many unique solutions as possible.
When every person in the group are active and performs their best, then the highest class of
synergy can be reached.
Today’s companies and organizations have been forced to be efficient and focus on quality,
therefore new technology and development is no longer that hard to reach. Instead an
organisation or a team can have problems with finding the best result or solution. That’s why
every leaders in meetings needs to encourage new thinking and new ideas to reach creative
people among the group.
