_______ THRUST REVERSER. THE ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Open the fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-04/201).

Open the core cowl panels (AMM 71-11-06/201).

Do the steps that follow to remove the Access Covers of the Fan Exit Fairing:

 (a)  
Cut the sealant from around the (rear) cover plate (1). 1) Remove the sealant from around the cover plate (1).

 (b)  
Remove the screws (2).

 NOTE: Use a No. 10 Torq-set drive to remove the screws.

Remove the cover plate (1).

 (d)  
Cut the sealant from around the two access covers (6). 1) Remove the sealant from around the two access covers(6).
