(b)  Loosen the nuts (53) on the bracket (7) at the 8:00 o'clock position.
 NOTE: This will disconnect the wire bundle of the fire
____ detector element from the terminals of the fire detector assembly (49).
 (c)  
Remove the screws (52) and the clamp housing (51) which attach the wire bundle of the fire detector element to the fire detector assembly (49).

 (d)  
Remove the four screws (50), washers (2), and spacers (54) which attach the fire detector assembly (49) to the bracket (7) at the 8:00 o'clock position.

 (e)  
Remove the screw (3), washer (2), and nut (4) which attach the wire bundle clamp for the fire detector element to the bracket

 (7)
 at the 8:00 o'clock position.

 (f)  
Remove the screw (3), washer (2), and nut (4) which attach the wire bundle clamp for the fire detector element to the bracket

 (7)
 at the 11:00 o'clock position.

 (g)  
Remove the screw (3), washer (2), and nut (4) which attach the wire bundle clamp for the fire detector element to the bracket (13) at the 1:00 o'clock position (Fig. 401, View C).

 (h)  
Remove the screw (12), washer (2), and nut (4) which attach the IDG air and oil heat exchanger oil-in tube clamp to bracket (13) mounted to angle gearbox (11) at the 2:00 o'clock position.

 (i)  
Disconnect the angle gearbox oil pressure tube assembly (LP09):


 1)  Remove the lockwire and disconnect the tube nut from the
 adapter port (10) at approximately the 4:00 o'clock
 position on the angle gearbox (11).
 a) Put a cap on the end of the tube.

 2)  ENGINES PRE-PW-SB 79-54; Remove the clamp bolt (40) and nut (39) that attaches the oil pressure tube to the High Pressure Compressor (HPC) bracket at approximately the 5:30 o'clock position. a) Remove the bolts (44, and 46) and nuts (43, and 45)
 which attach the oil pressure tube to the Flange H brackets.
 3)  ENGINES POST-PW-SB 79-54; Remove the clamp bolt (42) and nut (41) which attaches the oil pressure tube to the fuel tube assembly for the oil cooler inlet, located approximately at the 5:30 o'clock position. a) Remove the bolt (47) which attaches the oil pressure
 tube to the flange H bracket. 4) Move the tube enough to give sufficient clearance for the angle gearbox removal.
 (j)  Remove the angle gearbox oil scavenge tube assembly (6) (LR01):
 1)  Remove the two bolts (17) which attach the scavenge tube to the housing (5) of the horizontal drive shaft at approximately the 6:30 o'clock position.
