4) Make the tape smooth to follow the vane contour.
NOTE: If tape becomes wrinkled or is applied incorrectly,
____ discard and apply new tape immediately.
CAUTION: INSTALLED APPEARANCE OF THE TAPE MUST BE SMOOTH AGAINST
_______ THE VANE SURFACE. FAILURE TO INSURE THAT THE TAPE IS SMOOTH CAN CAUSE THE TAPE TO TEAR OR TO BE THE BOEING COMPANY UNSERVICEABLE.
(g) Remove the Masking Tape.
