Attach the hoist to the handling bracket.

 (c)  
Move the fan case (24) from the pallet until it aligns with the dowel pin hole in the fan exit case.

 (d)  
Lightly hit the front fan case (24) with a fiber mallet to make sure it is fully installed.

 (e)  
Install the bolts (18), threads lubricated with engine oil, washers (19 and 23), spacers (17 and 21), and nuts (16) to the rear (Flange B) of the front fan case (24) .


 NOTE: Do not install the bolts where you will install the
____
 brackets.

 1)  Tighten the bolts with your hand.
 (f)  
Install the brackets (12, 14, 15, 20, 22, 46, and 47) to Flange B as follows: 1) Install the bolts (18), threads lubricated with engine oil,

 washers (19 and 23), spacers (17 and 21), and nuts (16)
 that attach the brackets (12, 14, 15, 20, 22, 46, and 47)
 to Flange B.
 a) Tighten the bolts (18) with your hand.


 (g)  
Make sure the distance between the front fan case (24) and the fan exit case (Flange B) is not more than 0.020 inch


 (0.508 mm).
 (h)  
Tighten all of the nuts (16) to 180-200 pound-inches (20.3-22.6 newton-meters).

 (i)  
Remove the hoist and the PWA 85677 handing bracket from the
 front fan case (24).

 (3)  Install the EEC PAMB manifold (7) and the flex hose (9) as one component as follows:
 (a)  Remove end caps from the manifold (7) which has the flex hose
 (9) attached.
 (b)  Connect the nut (3) for the EEC PAMB flex hose.
 (c)  Tighten the nut (3) to 90-100 pound-inches
 (10.2-11.3 newton-meters).
 (d)  Install the bolt (1), threads lubricated with engine oil, and
 nut (2) that attach the manifold clamp to the top of the split
 bracket (10) (Flange A1).
 NOTE: This bracket (10) is at the 1:30 o'clock position.____
 (e)  Install the bolt (1), threads lubricated with engine oil, and
 nut (2) that attaches the manifold clamp to the top of the
 split bracket (11) (Flange A1).
 NOTE: This split bracket (11) is at the 1:45 o'clock position.____
 (f)  Install the bolt (1), threads lubricated with engine oil, and
 nut (2) that attaches the manifold clamp to the top of the
 bracket (12) (Flange B).
 (g)  Install the bolt (1), threads lubricated with engine oil, and
 nut (2) that attaches the flex hose clamp to the top of the
 split bracket (13) (Flange B).
 (h)  Install the bolt (1), threads lubricated with engine oil,
 and nut (2) that attaches the manifold clamp to the split
 bracket (13) (Flange B).
 (i)  Tighten the bolts (1) to 36-40 pound-inches
 (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).
 1) If the hose nuts have lockwire holes, install the Lockwire
 (P05-289) or Safety Cable (P05-291) and Safety Cable
 Ferrule (P05-292) to safety the hose nuts.

 CAUTION: DO NOT USE LUBRICANTS ON THE EEC SENSING TUBES, ADAPTERS, OR
_______ PACKINGS. IF YOU USE LUBRICANTS ON THESE PARTS, YOU CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION TO THE EEC.
 (4)  
Install the EEC PT2 flex hose (8) as follows:

 (a)  
Remove the end caps from the flex hose PT2 (8).

 (b)  
Install the bolts (1), threads lubricated with engine oil, and nuts (2) that attach the hose clamp to the split bracket (13) (Flange B).

 (c)  
Install the bolt (1), threads lubricated with engine oil, and nut (2) that attaches the hose clamp to the bracket (14) (Flange B).
