STARTER DRIVE OIL SEAL - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. The procedure that follows gives the steps for the removal and the installation of the starter drive oil seal. In this procedure the starter drive oil seal will be referred to as the oil seal.
B. The oil seal is installed in the space for the starter drive pad on the main gearbox aft face at the 5 o'clock position.
C. You can open the thrust reverser halves and remove the starter to get access to the oil seal.
