CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE CUTTING TOOL ONLY TOUCHES THE AREA THAT YOU
_______ WILL REMOVE FROM THE SURFACE OF THE DUCT SEGMENT. THE CUTTING TOOL CAN ACCIDENTALLY CUT THE DUCT SEGMENT THAT IS ADJACENT TO THE DAMAGED AREA, OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FAN CASE.
(3) With a cutting tool, remove material, as shown in Fig. 802, from the crack in the duct segment.
