NOTE:____The AVM signal conditioner passed the self test. The front display will then go out of view.

If the AVM signal conditioner shows SELFTEST FAILED REPLACE or is blank, there is a failure of the AVM signal conditioner. 1) Replace the AVM signal conditioner and do the self test
again.

AIRPLANES WITH A VIBRO-METER S360N021-113 OR -114 AVM;
The AVM signal conditioner will show Self Test?.
(h)
Push and release the YES button on the front display of the AVM signal conditioner. 1) If the display on the AVM signal conditioner is blank, do
the troubleshooting that shows for an AVM Indication Problem (AMM 71-00-54/101).
(i)
The AVM signal conditioner will show the hardware and software versions for 12 seconds, then show Test in progress for approximately two seconds.

Make sure that the AVM signal conditioner shows Test OK.
NOTE:____The AVM signal conditioner passed the self test. After Test OK, push and release the NO button to show Fault History? on the front display of the AVM signal conditioner. If the AVM signal conditioner is left alone for 5 minutes, the display will then turn off.
(k)
If the AVM signal conditioner shows XX Faults Display? or is blank, there is a failure of the AVM signal conditioner.
NOTE: XX is the total number of faults.

1) If the front display on the AVM signal conditioner is blank, replace the AVM signal conditioner and do the self test again.
2) If there are XX Faults Display?, do the system test for the Airborne Vibration Monitoring (AVM) System (AMM 77-31-00/201).

(a)
Clear the fault and flight history data from the AVM
(AMM 77-31-00/501).
(b)
Clear the imbalance data from the AVM (AMM 72-31-00/501).
(c)
Clear or reset the balance screw data in the AVM
(AMM 72-31-00/501).
NOTE: This will set the AVM to the default configuration.

(d) Enter the balance screw data for engine No. 1 and engine No. 2 in the AVM (AMM 72-31-00/501).
