(f)  Do these steps for each flight word:
 1)  Push the LAB/DAT key on the ARINC 429 reader to change to the data mode.
 NOTE: The LAB/DAT key changes the ARINC 429 reader between
____ the label mode and the data mode. The ARINC 429 reader must be in the data mode to show the flight history data. The ARINC 429 reader must be in the label mode to show to the subsequent flight word.
 2) Push the UP ARROW key or the DOWN ARROW key on the ARINC 429 reader to show the subsequent flight word that was set. 3) Push the LAB/DAT key on the ARINC 429 reader to change to the label mode. 4) Push the UP ARROW key or the DOWN ARROW key on the ARINC 429 reader to show the subsequent flight word.

 (3)  Make a record of all the flight history messages and do the
 corrective action, if it is necessary.

 (a)  If there are high vibrations, do the troubleshooting that shows for High Vibration Indication (AMM 71-00-47/101).

 (4)  Erase the flight history from the AVM signal conditioner, if it is necessary:
 (a)  
If you use the Generic AVM test box, push the ERASE FLIGHT HISTORY button on the generic AVM test box.

 (b)  
If you do not use the Generic AVM test box; do these steps: 1) Connect a jumper wire between the pin 19 and the pin 20 on

 the AVM signal conditioner. 2) Remove the jumper wire after five seconds.
 J.  Return the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Do these steps to disconnect the ARINC 429 reader:

 (a)  
Disconnect the connector of the Generic AVM test box from the front panel of the AVM signal conditioner.

 (b)  
Install the protective cap on the connector of the AVM signal conditioner.

 

 (2)  
Close the Electronic Equipment Access Door, 1201L.
