 D. Procedure
 S 434-185-C03
 (1)  Do these steps to connect the connector (Fig. 406):
 (a)  
Remove protective caps from the connector and the receptacle.

 (b)  
Connect the connector (on the right extension harness) to the right junction box. 1) Tighten the connector with the fork wrench to


 170-190 pound-inches (19-21 N.m).

 (2)  Do these steps to connect the harness:
 (a)  
Install the loop clamp, the bolt, and the nut that attach the harness to the engine bracket at three locations. 1) Tighten the bolts and the nuts to 50-55 pound-inches

 (5.5-6.5 N.m).

 (b)  
Install the two loop clamps, the bolt, and the nut that attach the right harness to the right extension harness and the engine bracket. 1) Tighten the bolt and the nut to 50-55 pound-inches


 (5.5-6.5 N.m).
 E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN AMM 78-31-00/201 WHEN YOU CLOSE THE
_______ THRUST REVERSER. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (1)  Close the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 (5)  AIRPLANES WITH EIS; For the applicable engine, remove DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

EGT THERMOCOUPLE HARNESS AND PROBES - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure contains one task, do a check of the EGT thermocouple harness and probes.
 (1)  You must do a visual check and an electrical resistance check in this task.

 (1)  
C71009, Electrical connector wrench (ENGINES WITH ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR (D1204) AT THE FIREWALL)

Low voltage ohmmeter - less than 10-volt dc output.
