(a) Apply a 3.0 |0.5v ac signal, at 2070 Hz, with the function generator. 1) Connect a multimeter to the DVM terminals on the test box
to make sure the signal is the correct voltage.

Make sure the red warning light, that shows an over-limit
condition, is on.

Make sure the indicator shows 102.1 |0.1%

N1 INDICATORS WITH A REDLINE AT 106%;
Make sure the indicator shows 106.2 |0.1%

Decrease the frequency on the function generator to 2070 Hz.

Pull out the control knob on the N1 indicator.
(c)
Make sure the index marker on the edge of the dial does not
move.
(d)
Make sure the display of the commanded N1 is on.
(e)
Make sure the display of the commanded N1 shows a value equal to the index marker position |0.5% N1.
(f)
Turn the knob and make sure the index marker and the display
change together with the movement of the knob.
