 D. Procedure
 S 434-181-C03
 (1)  Do these steps to connect the connectors (Fig. 403):
 (a)  
Put protective caps on the connectors and the receptacles.

 (b)  
Connect the connector (on the lower extension harness) to the left junction box. 1) Tighten the connector with the fork wrench to

 170-190 pound-inches (19-21 N.m).

 (c)  
Connect the connector (on the lower extension harness) to the lower junction box. 1) Tighten the connector with the fork wrench to

 170-190 pound-inches (19-21 N.m).

 (d)  
Connect the connector (on the forward extension cable) to the main junction box. 1) Tighten the connector with the fork wrench to


 170-190 pound-inches (19-21 N.m).

 (2)  Do these steps to attach the extension harness:
 (a)  
Install the bolt and the clamp that attach the lower extension harness to the engine bracket at two locations. 1) Tighten the bolts to 50-55 pound-inches (5.5-6.5 N.m).

 (b)  
Install the bolt, the nut, and the clamp that attach the lower extension harness to the engine brackets at two locations. 1) Tighten the bolts and the nuts to 50-55 pound-inches

 (5.5-6.5 N.m).

 (c)  
Install the two bolts and the two nuts that attach the main junction box to the engine flange. 1) Tighten the nuts to 100-110 pound-inches (11.5-12.5 N.m).


 E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN AMM 78-31-00/201 WHEN YOU CLOSE THE
_______ THRUST REVERSER. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (1)  
Close the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Close the fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

Do the activation procedure for the thrust reverser
 (AMM 78-31-00/201).

AIRPLANES WITHOUT EIS; For the applicable engine, remove DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:


 (a)  P6 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) EGT IND ENG 1
 2) EGT IND ENG 2

 (5)  AIRPLANES WITH EIS; For the applicable engine, remove DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a)  P6 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) EIS PRI 2
 2) EIS PRI 4

 (6)  Do the EGT indicating operational test (AMM 77-21-00/501).
