1. General

A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the airborne vibration monitor (AVM) signal conditioner.
(2)
The installation of the airborne vibration monitor (AVM) signal conditioner.

2. Airborne Vibration Monitor (AVM) Signal Conditioner Removal
___________________________________________________________
A. General
(1)
This task is the removal procedure for the airborne vibration monitor (AVM) signal conditioner.
(2)
The AVM signal conditioner is installed in the main E/E rack on one of these shelves: E1-1, E1-2, E1-3 or E1-4.
(a)
When you remove the AVM signal conditioner, do not supply the electrical power to the AVM system.
(b)
The electrical connector for the signal conditioner is on the rear of the unit.
(c)
A cam-action ejection lever that is part of the handle holds the signal conditioner in the EE rack mount.

Before you touch the AVM signal conditioner, do the procedure for the Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices (AMM 20-40-12/201).
