REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains 12 tasks, the removal and the installation of
each of these parts of the EGT thermocouple harness and probes:
(1)
Forward EGT extension cable
(2)
Left EGT thermocouple harness and probes
(3)
Lower EGT extension harness
(4)
Lower EGT thermocouple harness and probes
(5)
Right EGT extension harness
(6)
Right EGT thermocouple harness and probes.
B. You can remove or install each part of the EGT thermocouple harness and
probes by itself.
C. There is no recommended sequence of removal or installation if you must
remove all the parts of the EGT thermocouple harness and probes.

(1) AIRPLANES WITHOUT EIS; For the applicable engine, open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) EGT IND ENG 1
2) EGT IND ENG 2

(2) AIRPLANES WITH EIS; For the applicable engine, open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) EIS PRI 2
