 3) Make sure that the AVM signal conditioner shows Test OK.
 NOTE: The AVM signal conditioner passed the self test.
____ After Test OK, push and release the NO button to show Fault History? on the front display of the AVM signal conditioner. If the AVM signal conditioner is left alone for 5 minutes, the display will then turn off.
 4)  If the AVM signal conditioner shows XX Faults Display? or is blank, there is a failure of the AVM signal conditioner.
 NOTE: XX is the total number of faults.

 a)  If the front display on the AVM signal conditioner is blank, replace the AVM signal conditioner and do the self test again.
 b)  If there are XX Faults Display?, do the system test for the Airborne Vibration Monitoring (AVM) System (AMM 77-31-00/201).

Operate only one engine to do this test.

Operate the engine at idle power or more than idle power.

 (8)  Monitor the vibration indication on the P2 panel in the flight compartment.
 (a)  
Make sure the vibration indication is more than zero.

 (b)  
Make sure the vibration indication is shown for the engine that you operate.

 (c)  
Slowly move the thrust lever forward to 70% N1.

 (d)  
Let the engine operation become stable for 2 minutes.

 (e)  
Move the thrust lever rearward to idle power.
