(2) Do these steps to remove the tailcone from the IFOT fairing (Fig. 201):
(a)
Put a support below the tailcone of the applicable IFOT fairing.
(b)
Remove the bolts that attach the tailcone assembly to the aft end of the IFOT fairing.
(c)
Remove the tailcone.

Remove the inboard trailing edge flap (AMM 27-51-04/401).

Disconnect the system B power of the hydraulic system from the trailing edge flaps (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Do these steps to remove the IFOT fairing (Fig. 201):
(a)
Put a support below the IFOT fairing.
(b)
At the inboard-wing IFOT-fairing interface (upper wing), do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the screws from the trailing-edge (TE) upper-inboard
wing-panel. 2) Remove the bolts, spacers, washers and nuts that connect the IFOT fairing to the upper wing. 3) Remove the angle bracket, bolt, shims and nut that connects the IFOT fairing to the upper wing.
(c)
At the outboard-wing IFOT-fairing interface (upper wing), do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the screws from the TE upper-outboard wing-panel. 2) Remove the plate assembly (P/N 65-69646) from the IFOT
fairing at bulkhead installation WBL 209. 3) Remove the P-clip from the IFOT fairing. 4) Remove the angle bracket, bolt, shims and nut from the
wing/IFOT fairing interface.
(d)
At the skate angle for each of the access panels 5743L/5843R , do the step that follows: 1) Remove the Hilok fastener that holds the IFOT fairing to
