Do this task: Get Access to the Hinges for the Thrust Reverser.

Make a note of the hinge link position.

 NOTE: This is help when you install the hinge link.

 (3)  Remove the nut (7), washers (4,6), bushing (5), and shoulder bolt
 (3) from the forward hinge fitting (1).

 (4) Remove the hinge link (2) from the thrust reverser half.
 (a)  Remove the nut, washer, and bolt.

 (5)  Examine the hinge link (2) for damage.
 (a)  If you find damage repair the hinge link (CMM 54-50-01) or replace it.

Examine the forward hinge fitting (1) for damage (SRM 54-50-90).
