Do this task: Get Access to the Hinges for the Thrust Reverser.

(2)
Put the bearing replacement tool (punch and anvil assemblies) on the applicable hinge fitting.
(3)
Remove the vibration isolator with the hand pump.
(4)
Remove the tool from the hinge fitting.

C. Procedure

(1) Put the bearing replacement tool and the new vibration isolator on the applicable hinge fitting.
(a) Use the pressure plate and spacer bushing from the tool kit.

CAUTION:_______USE THE CORRECT VIBRATION ISOLATOR. THE VIBRATION ISOLATORS FOR THE FORWARD AND THE CENTER HINGE FITTINGS ARE DIFFERENT. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE CORRECT VIBRATION ISOLATOR, DAMAGE TO THE THRUST REVERSER OR THE STRUT CAN OCCUR.
(2)
Install the vibration isolator with the hand pump.

(3)
Remove the tool from the hinge fitting.

(4)
With the roller staking assembly, stake the vibration isolator into the hinge fitting.

(5)
Examine the vibration isolator to make sure it is installed correctly.
(6)
Remove the staking tool from the hinge fitting.

Examine the hinge fitting for damage (SRM 54-50-90).

Examine the bushings for wear or damage.
(a) If the bushings are damaged, replace the bushings (CMM 54-50-01).
(4)
Do this task: Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.
