Do this task: Get Access to the Hinges for the Thrust Reverser.

Remove the nut, washers, and bolt.

Remove the jumper from the clip.

Remove the nut, washer, bushing, jumper, washer, and bolt.
(5)
Remove the ball from the race.

CAUTION:_______ USE CARE AS YOU SLIDE THE CROSS BEAM THROUGH EACH CLEVIS AND
ABOVE THE HEAT SHIELD. MAKE SURE THE CROSS BEAM IS FREE TO
MOVE. AS THE CROSS BEAM LUG STARTS INTO THE OPPOSITE CLEVIS,
DO A CHECK OF THE ALIGNMENT. THE BUSHINGS ON THE CROSS BEAM
CAN BE CAUGHT ON THE BUSHINGS OF THE HINGE FITTING AND CAUSE
DAMAGE.

Carefully pull the cross beam out of the strut. S 202-041-B00
(7)
Examine the cross beam for damage.
