Set the No. 1 AFT FUEL PUMP switch on the P5 forward overhead panel to the OFF position.
(g)
Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit
(h)
Remove the external electrical power from the airplane
(AMM 24-22-00/201).

(8) Remove the turbine engine tester from the engine:
(a)
Make sure the BAT switch on the P5 forward overhead panel is in the OFF position.
(b)
Disconnect the oil pressure hose (38) from the tester coupling
(9) and the oil pressure port (39) on the oil pressure switch.
(c)
Install caps on the oil pressure port (39) and the test port on the oil pressure switch.

Disconnect the control air hose (40) from the tester
coupling (11) and the control-air pressure port (41).
(e)
Install caps on the control-air pressure port (41) and the
tester coupling (11).
(f)
Disconnect the fuel pressure hose (42) from the tester
coupling (3) and the fuel pressure port (43).
(g)
Install caps on the fuel pressure port (43) and the tester
coupling (3).
(h)
Disconnect the electrical cable or test cable assembly (46)
from the tester and the engine.
(i)
AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ETC; Disconnect the leads of the electrical cable or adapter cable assembly (46) from the terminals of the EGT thermocouple probe.
(j)
AIRPLANES WITH THE ETC; Disconnect the leads of the electrical cable or adapter cable assembly (46) from the studs of the ETC thermocouple probe.
(k)
AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ETC; Connect the leads of the thermocouple harness to the terminals of the EGT thermocouple probe.
(l)
AIRPLANES WITH THE ETC; Connect the leads of the thermocouple harness to the studs of the ETC thermocouple probe.
(m)
Connect the electrical harness (47) connector to the receptacle in the upper shroud.
(n)
Disconnect the electrical cable or test cable assembly (46)
from the electronic speed switch (44) and the harness
connector (45).
(o)
Connect the electrical connector D1245 (45) to the electronic speed switch (44).
(p)
Connect the electrical connector (37) to the tachometer
generator (36).

CAUTION: KEEP A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 0.18 INCHES (5 MM) BETWEEN THE
_______ ENGINE, FIRE DETECTOR, CLAMPS AND LOWER SHROUD.
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE LOWER SHROUD. DAMAGE TO THE SHROUD DRAIN LINES CAN OCCUR.
(9) Install the lower shroud:
(a)
Hold the lower shroud against the upper shroud.
(b)
Close the shroud latches.

(10) Close the APU cowl door:
(a)
Disconnect the door support rods.
(b)
Put the door support rods in the clips on the APU cowl door.
(c)
Close the APU cowl door.

(11) Set the circuit breaker and the switch:
(a)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit
(b)
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel.
