APU ENGINE MOUNTS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure gives the tasks to remove and to install the APU engine mounts. There are three shroud mounting brackets installed on the APU shroud. There are three APU engine mount brackets installed on the APU engine. There is a removal task and an installation task for each type of mount. To get to the APU engine mounts, you must remove the APU power plant. If you must replace a vibration isolator, you must remove the APU power plant. It is not necessary to remove the mounting brackets to replace the vibration isolator.

Remove the APU power plant (AMM 49-11-00/401).

Remove the shroud mounting bracket from the APU shroud:
(a)
Remove the lockwire from the nuts.
(b)
Remove the nuts, washers, and bolts that attach the mounting bracket to the upper shroud.
(c)
Remove the mounting bracket.
