Install the ring mount strut (vertical) to the ring mount for the left forward mount with the nut, washer and bolt. 1) Adjust the ring mount strut if it is necessary.
NOTE: The ring mount strut can be adjusted if there is a
____ clearance problem with the APU lower shroud and the APU access door.
(g) Install the ring mount strut (axial) to the ring mount for the left aft mount with the nut, washer and bolt. 1) Adjust the ring mount strut if it is necessary.

Install the overheat detector to the upper shroud.

Connect the bleed air duct to the upper shroud:
(a)
Release the bleed air duct from the APU compartment.
(b)
Remove the cover from the bleed air duct.
(c)
Install the bleed air duct to the upper shroud with the screws.
(d)
Connect the bleed air duct to the bleed air valve with the
clamp and seal.
(e)
Connect the flexible connector, duct end and clamp to the bleed air duct.

(6) Connect the fire extinguisher line:
(a) Remove the cover from the fitting in the upper shroud.

Remove the cap from the fire extinguisher line.
(c)
Connect the fire extinguisher line to the fitting in the upper shroud.

(7) Connect the control line for the bleed air:
(a)
Remove the plug from the bleed air valve.
(b)
Remove the cap from the control line for the bleed air.
(c)
Connect the control line for the bleed air to the bleed air
valve.

(8) Connect the fuel line to the upper shroud:
(a)
Remove the cap from the fuel line.
(b)
Put the clamp on the fuel line.
(c)
Connect the fuel line to the upper shroud.
(d)
Install the screws that attach the fuel line shroud to the
upper shroud.
(e)
Install the bonding jumper to the clamp with the screw, washers and nut (AMM 20-10-37/401). 1) You must have a resistance of 0.0025 ohm maximum.

(9) Connect the bleed air line:
(a)
Remove the cover from the fitting of the control valve for the fuel sensing flow in the upper shroud.
(b)
Remove the cap from the bleed air line.
(c)
Connect the bleed air line to the fitting of the control valve for the fuel sensing flow in the upper shroud.

(10) In the APU compartment, connect the electrical receptacles to the upper shroud:
(a)
Remove the caps and covers from all the electrical receptacles and fittings.
(b)
Connect the receptacle for the fire detector, D4816J, to the
fitting on the upper shroud.
(c)
Connect the receptacle for the APU generator control, D4804J, to the fitting on the upper shroud.
(d)
Connect the receptacle for the EGT indicating system, D1102J, to the fitting on the upper shroud.
(e)
If they are installed, connect the receptacles for the FADEC, D10434 and D10436, to the fittings on the upper shroud.
(f)
Connect the receptacle for the APU electrical generator,
D4800J, to the fitting on the upper shroud.
(g)
Connect the receptacle for the starter motor, D4802J, to the
fitting on the upper shroud.
(h)
Connect the receptacle for the APU harness, D452, to the
