 NOTE:____ Use a 0.0062 inch (0.16 mm) laminated shim.
 (c)  Install the actuator on the mounting bracket with the bolts, washers and nuts.
 (3)  S 434-013Put the pushrod bearings in the actuator arms.
 (4)  S 434-014Install the bolts, washers and nuts that attach the pushrod bearings and the actuator arms.
 (5)  S 034-020Remove the cap from the electrical connector.
 (6)  S 434-015Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.
 (7)  S 414-016Close the access door to the actuator of the air inlet door.
 (8)  S 864-017Set these switches on the P5 forward overhead panel: (a) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BAT switch. (b) Set the BAT switch to the ON position. (c) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master switch. (d) Set the APU master switch to the OFF position. (e) Set the BAT switch to the OFF position.
 (9)  S 704-018Do a test of the APU air inlet (AMM 49-15-00/501).

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure gives the task to inspect and check the drain cup in the APU shroud. The drain cup is on the lower shroud.

 D.  Procedure
 S 866-002
 (1)  Set the switch and the circuit breaker:
 (a)  
Set the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel to the OFF position and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

 (b)  
Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

 (2)  Open the APU cowl door:
 (a)  
Open the latches for the APU cowl door.

 (b)  
Open the APU cowl door.

 (c)  
Connect the door support rods.

 S 016-004
 CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE LOWER SHROUD. DAMAGE TO THE SHROUD DRAIN LINES CAN OCCUR.
 (3)  Remove the lower shroud:
 (a)  
Hold the lower shroud and open the shroud latches.

 (b)  
Remove the lower shroud.
