(b) If it is necessary, adjust the pushrod ends: 1) Remove the nuts, washers and bolts that connect the pushrods to the actuator arms. 2) Loosen the locknut of one pushrod end bearing on each pushrod.
3) Turn the pushrod ends until the air inlet door aligns in the limits.
NOTE: The pushrod end will move 0.02 inch (0.5 mm)
____ with one half turn of the pushrod end.
4) Tighten the locknuts of the pushrod end bearings.
5) Put the pushrods on the actuator arms.
6) Install the nuts, washers and bolts that connect the
pushrods to the actuator arms.

(4) Set these switches on the P5 forward overhead panel:
(a)
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BAT switch.
(b)
Set the BAT switch to the ON position.
(c)
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master switch.
(d)
Set the APU master switch to the OFF position.

(5) Make sure the air inlet door aligns correctly for the closed position:
(a)
Measure the position of the air inlet door in the closed position (Sheet 3).
(b)
If it is necessary, adjust the pushrod ends. The clearance between the air inlet door and the inlet throat must be correct.
NOTE: Do not adjust the position of the air inlet door out of
____ the limits for the open position.
