Remove the pressure cap from the air line fitting for the bleed load control in the upper shroud.
(d)
Remove the pressure cap from the fuel inlet line: 1) Remove the pressure cap from the fuel inlet line in the upper shroud.
2) Install the fuel inlet hose to the fuel inlet line in the upper shroud.
(e)
Remove the cap from the bleed air duct: 1) Remove the clamp from the cap on the bleed air duct. 2) Remove the cap from the bleed air duct. 3) Install the flexible coupling, the duct end, the gasket,
and the clamp on the bleed air duct.
4) Tighten the clamp.

(5) Remove the exhaust muffler plug (Fig. 205):
(a)
Release the strap assembly from the forward end of the exhaust muffler.
(b)
Remove the hook assembly from the forward end of the exhaust muffler.
(c)
Pull on the handle of the exhaust plug to remove it from the exhaust muffler.
(d)
Remove the pad from the hook assembly.
(e)
Remove the strap assembly from the exhaust plug.

(6) Do the deactivation of the air inlet door (Fig. 204):
(a) FOR THE C49001-1 TOOL KIT; If the inlet door actuator was removed from the airplane and the door lock bracket installed, do these steps: 1) Disconnect the pushrods from the actuator arms. 2) Remove the spacers from the pushrods. 3) Remove the bolts and washers from the actuator arms. 4) Remove the actuator arms from the door lock bracket. 5) Remove the bolts, nuts and washers that attach the door
lock bracket to the mounting bracket for the inlet door actuator.

6) Remove the door lock bracket. 7) Remove the braid that holds the electrical connector, D922, for the inlet door actuator to the airplane structure. 8) Install the inlet door actuator (AMM 49-15-31/401).
(b) If the inlet door actuator was not removed from the airplane, do these steps: 1) FOR THE C49001-1 TOOL KIT;
Remove the cap assembly from the electrical connector, D922, and electrical receptacle for the inlet door actuator.
2) FOR THE F80136-32 TOOL KIT; Do these steps: a) Remove the cap chain from the receptacle attachment
screw. b) Remove the cap from the actuator electrical receptacle. c) Remove the electrical harness with the cap chain from
the airplane structure. d) Remove the cap from the electrical connector D922 for the inlet door actuator. 3) Connect the electrical connector D922 to the inlet door actuator.
(c) Put the air inlet door in the open position:
NOTE: If the inlet door actuator was not disturbed in the
____ deactivation procedure, it is not necessary to do the steps in this paragraph.
1) Disconnect the pushrods from the actuator arms.
2) FOR THE C49001-1 TOOL KIT; Remove the spacers from the pushrods for the inlet door actuator.
3) Remove the bolts and washers from the actuator arms. 4) Remove the actuator arms from the inlet door actuator. 5) Put the actuator arms on the output shafts of the inlet
door actuator.
NOTE: The punch marks on the output shaft of the inlet
____ door actuator must align with the centerline of the actuator arms.
6) Install the bolts and washers for the actuator arms. 7) Tighten the bolts to 22-28 pound-inches
(2.5-3.2 newton-meters). 8) Connect the pushrods to the actuator arms. 9) Do the test and the adjustment of the air inlet door
(AMM 49-15-00/501).

(7) Do the activation of the APU fuel valve (Fig. 203):
(a) FOR THE C49001-1 TOOL KIT; Remove the cap assembly from the electrical connector D920 and electrical receptacle for the APU fuel valve.
