Remove the unit (the hinge assembly and the air inlet door):
(a) Remove the nuts, washers and bolts that connect the pushrod bearings to the actuator arms (Fig. 401).

(b)
Remove the two pushrod bearings from the two pushrods.
(c)
Remove the nut from the inboard end of the pushrod for the vortex generator flap (Fig. 402).
(d)
Remove the screws that attach the hinge assembly to the airplane (Fig. 403).
NOTE: Get the access to the screws from the outer side of the
____
airplane.
(e) Carefully remove the unit (the hinge assembly and the air inlet door).
NOTE: When you remove the unit, you must remove the nuts
____ between the barrel fitting and grommet in the duct. (Fig. 402).

(4) Remove the hinge assembly from the air inlet door (Fig. 403):
(a)
Remove the hinge pin, washers and cotter pin that attach the hinge assembly to the air inlet door.
(b)
Remove the hinge assembly from the air inlet door.
