Item 9. WRITE DOWN THE APU EGT (SEE CHART A)
1) This is used to measure the duct leakage. The difference between the EGT with the APU bleed valve closed (Item 5) and the EGT with the APU bleed and the isolation valves open gives the duct leakage (20°C maximum).

Item 10. CLOSE THE APU BLEED VALVE
1) This will make a condition to do a check of the opening rate for the APU bleed valve.

Item 11. OPEN THE TWO PACK VALVES AND SET MANUAL FULL COLD WITH THE ISOLATION VALVE OPEN
1) This will monitor the load control valve, the regulator, and the thermostat performance.

Item 12. OPEN THE APU BLEED VALVE
1) If the packs are set to on when you open the APU bleed valve, a maximum flow from the APU will be necessary. This maximum flow will permit the APU bleed valve to look for its maximum opening rate.
