Disconnect the receptacle for the APU electrical generator, D4800J, from the fitting on the upper shroud.

 (e)  
If they are installed, disconnect the receptacles for the FADEC, D10434 and D10436, from the fittings on the upper shroud.

 (f)  
Disconnect the receptacle for the EGT indicating system, D1102J, from the fitting on the upper shroud.

 (g)  
Disconnect the receptacle for the APU generator control, D4804J, from the fitting on the upper shroud.

 (h)  
Disconnect the receptacle for the fire detector, D4816J, from the fitting on the upper shroud.

(i)  Install caps and covers on all the electrical receptacles and fittings to prevent contamination.

 (7)  Disconnect the bleed air line:
 (a)  
Disconnect the bleed air line from the fitting of the control valve for the fuel sensing flow in the upper shroud.

 (b)  
Install a cap on the bleed air line.

 (c)  
Install a cover on the fitting of the control valve.


 S 034-011
 (8)  Remove the fuel line from the upper shroud:
 (a)  
Remove the screws that attach the fuel line shroud to the upper shroud.

 (b)  
Remove the nut, washers and screw that attach the clamp and
 bonding jumper to the upper shroud.


 (c)  
Remove the clamp.

 (d)  
Disconnect the fuel line from the upper shroud.

 (e)  
Install a cap on the fuel line.

 (9)  Disconnect the control line for the bleed air:
 (a)  
Disconnect the control line for the bleed air from the bleed
 air valve.


 (b)  
Install a cap on the control line for the bleed air.

 (c)  
Install a plug on the bleed air valve.

 (10) Disconnect the fire extinguisher line:
 (a)  
Disconnect the fire extinguisher line from the fitting in the upper shroud.

 (b)  
Install a cap on the fire extinguisher line.

 (c)  
Install a cover on the fitting in the upper shroud.

 Remove the nut, washers, and bolt that attach the airplane bonding jumper to the upper shroud.

 (12)
 Disconnect the bleed air duct from the upper shroud:

 (a)  
Remove the flexible connector, duct end and clamp from the
 bleed air duct.


 (b)  
Remove the clamp and seal between the bleed air duct and the
 bleed air valve.


 (c)  
Remove the screws that hold the bleed air duct to the outer
 surface of the upper shroud.


 (d)  
Move the bleed air duct outboard and temporarily secure bleed air duct to the APU compartment.

 (e)  
Install a cover on the bleed air duct.

 Disconnect the overheat detector from the upper shroud.

 Remove the upper shroud from the APU compartment:


 NOTE:____The ring mount struts have different lengths. Do not remove the ring mount struts from the airplane mounting brackets unless it is necessary.
 (a)  
Remove the nut, washer and bolt that attach the ring mount strut (vertical) to the ring mount for the left aft mount.

 (b)  
Remove the nut, washer and bolt that attach the ring mount strut (axial) to the ring mount for the left aft mount.

 (c)  
Remove the nut, washer and bolt that attach the ring mount strut (vertical) to the ring mount for the left forward mount.
