Look at the rubber cushion of the vibration isolator for these problems: 1) Separations more than 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) in depth or longer
than 1/2 the distance around the vibration isolator are not permitted. 2) Cracks more than 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) in depth are not permitted. 3) Displacements more than 0.04 inch (1.0 mm) (radial) or 0.06 inch (1.5 mm) (axial) are not permitted.
(e)
If it is necessary to replace the vibration isolator, remove the vibration isolator: 1) Remove the cotter pin or lockwire, nut and washers or
retainer from the vibration isolator. 2) Remove the vibration isolator from the shroud mounting bracket.

(1)
Remove the APU power plant (AMM 49-11-00/401).

(2)
If you must remove the mount bracket with the cap from the APU engine, do these steps:
(a)
Remove the bolts and washers from the mount bracket on the APU engine.
(b)
Remove the mount bracket from the APU engine.
S 024-011
(3) If it is necessary to remove the cap from the mount bracket, do these steps:
(a)
Remove the nuts, washers, and bolts that attach the mount cap to the engine mount bracket.
(b)
Remove the cotter pin, nut, washers and bolt from the mount bracket.
(c)
Remove the cap from the mount bracket.
