(6) Remove the actuator:
(a)
Remove the nuts, washers and bolts that attach the actuator to the mounting bracket.
(b)
Remove the actuator and the shims, if used.

(7) Remove the actuator arms from the actuator:
(a)
Remove the bolts and washers from the actuator arms.
(b)
Remove the actuator arms from the actuator output shaft.
(c)
Keep the actuator arms for the installation.

S 434-010
(1) Install the actuator arms on the actuator:
(a)
Put the actuator arms on the actuator output shaft.
(b)
Align the punch mark on the actuator output shaft with the centerline of the actuator arms.
(c)
Install the bolts and the washers.
(d)
Tighten the bolts to 22-28 pound-inches (2.5-3.2 N.m).

(2) S 424-012Install the actuator: (a) Put the actuator on the mounting bracket. (b) If there is not a tight fit between the actuator and the mounting bracket, add the shims as it is necessary.
