A. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area with a R MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS R (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Engine Pump Fire-Valve Actuator Assembly CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE ACTUATOR AND THE ENGINE PUMP FIRE VALVE
_______ TOUCH ACROSS THEIR FULL SURFACES AND CORRECTLY CONNECT WITH :
-
THE DRIVE SHAFT OF THE ACTUATOR ENGAGED IN THE COUPLING OF THE ENGINE PUMP FIRE VALVE
-
THE DOWEL PIN IN THE ADAPTOR PLATE ENGAGED WITH THE HOLE IN THE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY.
(1)
Remove the blanking covers from the actuator (1) and the adaptor plate (5).
(2)
Align the actuator (1) with the pin (6), and put the actuator (1) in postion on the adaptor plate (5).
(3)
Make sure that the drive shaft of the actuator engages the engine pump fire-valve correctly.
(4)
Install the screws (4) into the clamp half (3), and install the new O-rings (2) (Ref. TASK 20-29-00-911-001) onto the screws (4).
(5)
Position the clamp halves (3), and (7) on the actuator assembly (1), and adaptor plate (5). Install the screws (4) into the clamp half (7).
(6)
Put the bonding lead (9) in position on the actuator (1), and secure with the screw (10)(Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(7)
Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (8). Subtask 29-13-52-865-057

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3700GD, 3702GD.
