(a)
Remove the reducer (17) and discard the O-ring (18).
(b)
Cut and remove the lockwire, remove the pressure gage (21) together with its adapter (20) and discard the O-ring (19).
(c)
Cut and remove the lockwire, remove the pressure relief valve
(23) and discard the O-ring (22).
(d)
Cut and remove the lockwire, remove the pressure switch (32) and discard the O-ring (31).
(e)
Remove the adapter (35) and discard the O-ring (34).
(f)
Cut and remove the lockwire and remove the pressure gage (21) from the adapter (20).
(g)
Install blanking plugs on all open ports of the reservoir.
(2)
Install the removed parts on the replacement reservoir as follows:
(a)
Directly before installation, lubricate all replaced O-rings with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
(b)
Remove the blanking plugs from the ports on the top of the reservoir (1).
(c)
Put the new O-ring (34) in position and install the adapter (35).
(d)
TORQUE the adapter (35) to between 1.08 and 1.19 m.daN (95.57 and
105.30 lbf.in).
(e)
Put the new O-ring (19) in position and install the adapter (20).
(f)
TORQUE the adapter (20) to between 1.08 and 1.19 m.daN (95.57 and
105.30 lbf.in).
(g)
Install the pressure gage (21) onto the adapter (20).
(h)
Hold the adapter (20) and TORQUE the pressure gage connector (21) to between 1.52 and 1.71 m.daN (11.20 and 12.61 lbf.ft).
(i)
Safety the pressure gage connector (21) and the adapter (20) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(j)
Put the new O-ring (31) in position and install the pressure switch (32).
(k)

(m)
Put the new O-ring (22) in position and install the pressure relief valve (23).
(n)
TORQUE the pressure relief valve (23) to between 3.19 and 3.47 m.daN (23.52 and 25.58 lbf.ft).
(o)
Safety the pressure relief valve (23) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(p)
Put the new O-ring (18) in position and install the reducer (17).
(q)
TORQUE the reducer (17) to between 1.42 and 1.54 m.daN (10.47 and
11.35 lbf.ft). Subtask 29-13-41-420-054
B. Installation of the Reservoir CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU USE THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
CAUTION : YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS
_______
LUBRICANT.
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the reservoir (1) and the pipes.
