A. Installation of the Check Valve
(1)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-ring (3).
(2)
Install the O-ring (3) on the check valve (1) (Ref. TASK 20-29-00-911-002)>
(3)
Remove the blanking plug from the panel (4).
(4)
Install the check valve (1) on the panel (4).
(5)
TORQUE the check valve (1) to between 2.82 and 5.87 m.daN (20.79 and
43.28 lbf.ft).
(6)
Remove the blanking plug from the disconnected hose (2).
(7) Connect the hose (2) to the check valve (1).
(8) TORQUE the coupling nut to between 2.43 and 2.77 m.daN (17.92 and 20.42 lbf.ft).

B. Preparation for the Test
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

C. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-13-00-710-002)
(2) During the dry motoring, make sure that there are no leaks from the check valve.
(3) Make sure that the level of the hydraulic fluid in the Yellow reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).

R (1) Remove the warning notice(s).
R (2) Remove the access platform(s).
R R (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
R (4) Close the left fan-cowl door 447AL (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040).
R (5) Close the door 195BB.

Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(2)
Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Put warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system: - on the ground service panel 198CB.
(4)
Put warning notice(s) on the access door 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir.

B. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
-put warning notice(s) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
Put warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
