(1)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001)
(2)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system: - on the ground service panel 198CB.
(4)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position on the access door 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir.
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the engine 1(2).
(6)
Make sure that the fan-cowl door 447AL is open.

B. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU.
(4)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(5)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(6)
Make sure that a container is below the suction-hose adapter connection to the hydraulic pump.

A. Installation of the Hydraulic Suction Hose/Tube Assembly
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the ends of the suction hose/tube (25), the fluid disconnect panel and the union in the hydraulic pump.
(2)
Connect the coupling half (15) to the suction hose/tube (25).
(3)
TORQUE the coupling nut on the suction hose/tube (25) to between 9.04
and 10.2 m.daN (66.66 and 75.22 lbf.ft).
(4)
Connect the adapter assembly (60) to the suction hose/tube (25).
(5)
TORQUE the coupling nut on the suction hose/tube (25) to between 10.7 and 13.0 m.daN (78.90 and 95.87 lbf.ft).
