Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).

Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

C. Installation of the Engine Pump Fire-Valve
(1)
Put the engine pump fire-valve (5) in position.
(2)
Engage the coupling nut (4). Do not tighten it fully.
(3)
Extend the compensated slide (6) to engage the coupling nut (1). Do not tighten it fully.
(4)
Make sure that the engine pump fire-valve (5) is correctly aligned, and tighten the coupling nuts (1) and (4).
(5)
Connect the cable connector (3) to the electrical connector (2). Subtask 29-13-52-865-052

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3700GD, 3702GD.
