Two per linear foot (305 mm). Provided depth does not exceed 0.025 in.
(0.635 mm) (10 percent of tube O.D.) and radius is not less than 0.04 in. (1.016 mm) (less than two times the wall thickness).
Maximum flat area can not be more than 0.5 in.
(12.7 mm) (not more than three times the tube O.D). The contour change cannot be more than 0.05 in. (1.27 mm) (20 percent of the tube O.D.).
Maximum depth cannot be more than 0.002 (0.0508 mm) (not more than 10 percent of wall thickness).
Damage is permitted if the threads that are good are not reduced by more than one thread.
Damage is permitted if the damaged end-fittings can keep the correct torque value.
If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-006) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-006).
If the flat areas are more than the allowable limits, replace the tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-006) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-006).
If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-006) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-006).
If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-006) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-006).
If the end-fittings cannot keep the correct torque value, replace the tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-000-006) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-49-400-006).
