(1)
Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(2)
Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Put a warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize
the Yellow hydraulic system: R - on the ground service panel 198CB.
R (4) Put a warning notice(s) in position on the access door 195BB to tell R persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir.

R C. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU: R - put a warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to start R the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
R (3) Put a warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system: - in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the panel 40VU.
R R R R R (4) On the maintenance panel 50VU: - make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off - put a warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
R R (5) Put a container below the Yellow engine pump to collect the remaining fluid.
R R R R R (6) Do a visual check of the element of the Yellow engine 2 pump case drain filter (3084GM), if you remove the pump: - because of operation without fluid (dry running) - or because of malfunction if you think that there is internal damage.
R R R R R R (7) Do also a visual check of the related Yellow HP filter element (3048GM): - if you find metal chips or decomposed hydraulic fluid (jelly) in the filter element - if you find contamination on the filters, flush the lines that connect the pump to the filters.

R (1) Open the left fan cowl door (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040): FOR 1000EM2 - Open the door 447AL.
(2) Put the access platform in position at the engine.

R A. Removal of the Yellow Engine Pump
R (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3030GD-A) from the pump (35).
(2) Disconnect the case drain hose (20) from the union/reducer (25) on
the pump(35).
R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union/reducer (25) on the pump____
R (35) when you loosen the hose coupling nut.
(3) Remove the union/reducer (25) and the packing (30) from the case
R drain port of the pump (35) and discard the packing (30).
(4) Disconnect the suction hose/tube (10) from the union (15) on the pump
(35).
R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union (15) on the pump (35)____
R when you loosen the hose/tube coupling nut.
R (5) Remove the union (15) and the packing (55) from the suction port of
R the pump (35) and discard the packing (55).

R (6) Disconnect the pressure hose/tube (5) from the union/reducer (65) on
the pump (35).
R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union/reducer (65) on the pump____
